Meet people in charge

Wojciech Sakowski, Ph. D. - Evatronix' co-founder, President and CSO, responsible for corporate planning and operation of the Electronic Design Department. He got the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Silesian University of Technology in 1990; co-founded Evatronix in 1991; in 1992 and in 1993 he worked at Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble (France) within the framework of the European CAD Integration Project as a manager of VHDL Standardization Logistics Team; he delivers lectures on EDA tools and high level design methodologies at the Silesian University of Technology.


Wlodzimierz Wrona, Ph. D. - Evatronix' co-founder and President, responsible for finances, infrastructure and operation of CAD Systems Department. He graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice with MSEE degree in 1980, got Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the same university in 1990; in the same year practiced in the American software company developing a simulation tool for hardware description languages; co-founded Evatronix in 1991; he is an author of the book on VHDL modeling (first one on the subject available in Polish).



Carsten Elgert - Vice President Marketing and Sales. Carsten came from Mentor Graphics, where he served as European Marketing Director over the last 6 years. Before becoming European Marketing Director he served at Mentor as the European systems solutions manager. Since the spin-off from Intergraph Carsten was the managing director of VeriBest in Central Europe, until its acquisition by Mentor. Before that he gathered his sales and marketing experience in sales and management positions at Intergraph electronics, Cadence, SES and Caeco.
